The Story of Nimble Brewing…

Nimble Brewing is a family-owned and operated nanobrewery (really really small brewery) in the East Crossroads neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. We handcraft our beer one barrel at a time to allow us to be as flexible and Nimble as possible...hence the reason we call it Nimble Brewing. We love the idea of being able to take the same approach to brewing at the brewery that we have had at home for the last 26 years. This uber small batch approach allows us to experiment and play with a broad range of fresh ingredients like locally sourced fruits, the ever-growing list of new world hops being grown, coffee, spices, etc.. We are not beholden to any investors or board of directors or the demands for profit that come along with them...we can’t even fathom the idea of brewing up a batch of beer so big that it could fill several hundred full-size kegs and require pallets full of packaging materials. At Nimble our passion for beer drives our desire to constantly produce such a wide variety of beers that we never want to be tied to a handful of “flagship” beers.

In addition to the ever-changing and wide variety of our hand-crafted beers at Nimble, you will also find a well-curated selection of Non-alcoholic drinks, Spirits, Wine, and even several hand-picked selections of craft beer from other producers around the world. Even though we feel like there's a beer for every occasion and every type of pallet, we understand that sometimes the occasion calls for a nice glass of Cabernet, the toasted caramel notes of a fine bourbon or even a slow sipping tequila or craft cocktail. We strive to have a libation and refreshment for everyone and pride ourselves on seeking out the highest quality products and providing them at an excellent value.

We do not serve food at Nimble but feel free to bring in food from outside establishments. There are dozens of amazing restaurants and food offerings within the crossroads neighborhood and we will be more than happy to make suggestions and assist you in any way when it comes to ordering food from local restaurants. We hope to even have food runners during the more busy times and bring in food trucks on occasion to provide even more convenient food options.
